Hello, I’m Daisy Sanchez! A graphic designer who specializes in branding.

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I’m the middle child of three daughters. My interest in art was sparked by watching my dad doodle and sketch on my school detention slips. As a child, I was amazed by how someone could transform a name into a drawing full of personality. Later, when I was older, my family took a long road trip through 15 states, and I started noticing all the billboards, posters, and even event tickets along the way that caught my eye. The way colors, fonts, and layouts came together made me wonder who created them. From then on, I began sketching during church or in class; any notebook or sketchbook in my possession always had some drawing or playful lettering inside.

In high school, I joined the after-school art club and helped paint a mural showing the culture and lifestyle of the city. I began painting in my room, trying to discover my own art style. Taking inspiration from everyday objects, such as the lines on leaves and the cracks on the pavement, I discovered the Bauhaus and Art Deco styles, and was instantly drawn to their bold shapes and structures. Tracing lines and creating compositions in geometric forms became a favorite part of my process.
